Missed an offer I would have accepted

I missed an offer on an item I was selling. It was auto declined. Is there any way I could proceed to salvage the purchase ?

They could still be contemplating purchasing your item. Try adding a message to your listing inviting the unknown offer maker to resubmit their offer.

If your listing has the b.o. set to auto-decline at a certain price and the offer was auto-declined, the offer you received was below the amount you set as declining automatically.

If you want to consider all offers, remove the auto-decline.

No, the bidder's eBay user name is masked. You could remove or change the minimum and/or auto-accept options, and deal with any offer (which you may have to decline or counter).
