Hi~~ I have a message from a member and can't get past the huge blue box picture with no response when I try to reply. How do I bypass this? Would a photo help, or is there someone (or everyone) able to get me back to "messages"? Thanks!

If you are trying to reply to an email, try replying directly to the email itself rather than using the blue reply button in the message body.
Make sure you are signed in to the same eBay account that the message was directed to and you should be able to see your message inbox here:
https://www.ebay.com/cnt/ViewMessage?_caprdt=1&group_type=CORE
If that is not working, try a different browser or try using the eBay app when signed in to the same eBay account.

OP5 months agoWow. I was replying to you and the system interrupted me to take a survey! So, now I'm back, I tried your link and was taken to the blue box again. I'm starting to think eBay wants to thin out the herd of sellers. I can't come up with a single reason why this is happening. Thanks a lot for trying! I appreciate your time.

OP5 months agoNo text at all. It looks like there's a place for the message and one for a reply, but nothing responds when I click on it. I'm trying to upload a pic but it keeps failing. I'm trying one more thing. Let's see if it helps.

To reply to a message:
click on the message
On the right side at the very bottom where it says "send message" that is the box where you write your reply.
When you are finished with your answer click the "arrow" on the far right to send.

OP5 months agoI can't click on the message. I get the insert bar. I took a photo of the dreaded blue box and it failed to upload. My computer has it fine, but it can't come up on these message board. I can't even come up with a reason for this! Is eBay gone crazy??

When I said "click on the message" I'm talking about your InBox on the left side of the page. Once the message opens go to the bottom right to compose your reply.

OP5 months agoNot anymore. I did as you said and got the blue box again. I seem to be in a loop! Thanks a lot for trying to help. You make total sense.

You mentioned earlier about a problem posting a screen shot. If you are trying to do a copy/paste I have experience some failure in the past month or two (pasting a screen image using Windows Screen Snip). I've had to same the image to my hard drive and then use the photo icon to import it rather than just a copy/paste.
This issue may be specific to me or more widespread....I don't know...I just wish the old way was still working as it was quick and easy.
A screen shot of what you describe would be VERY helpful.

I should be able to tell but is this on a desktop or a phone (browser) or the App?
While I think about this I'll let @eburtonlab take over now that the image is posted.

It might be worth restarting your device to see if that helps.
I have run into issues when my phone or computer has not been restarted in a while, or when the memory is almost full, where sometimes text does not appear for certain fonts.
