Message to eBay - Put back the check box for sold items.
Just recently the checkbox in the left column when searching eBay has had the SOLD checkbox removed.
Put that back!

OP8 months agoToday, 1/16/2025 the Sold Items checkbox is back where it belongs on both Chrome and Firefox.

OP8 months agoIn Chrome it is at the bottom with Completed Items.
In Firefox is is at the top, still.

·8 months agoThank you to @de.duct and @valueaddedresource for pointing out that they moved the sold box (I am on Windows/Chrome/desktop). I have been missing that for almost a week and I have using the completed box for reasons already mentioned. I noticed on the app it's in the same place.

OP8 months agoIt is not here for some of us.
I did find that if I check the completed, then once it shows those, a sold checkbox appears near the TOP of the left column.
Why make us go through completeds to get sold items?

In Chrome I see the Sold Items box moved up to the top under categories in the left column when just doing a regular search, no need to click completed first.

·8 months agoPerhaps that particular seller hasn't had a sale in the last 90 days or so? I just checked a random seller and the <sold> option is still there in both FF and Chrome.

I'm on Fire Fox as well. I've had plenty of sales in the last 90 days, as recently as 4 just this morning, and the extra click work-around is there for me.
Like I said, not a biggie... If and when it happens to you, Adapt!

Looked at your Listings. Went to the Left. Hit SOLD.
You sold those Playing Cards on the 10th. The Postcard on the 8th.....
Is it your Browser. your App maybe?

OP8 months agoCompleted items include items that were not sold. It ain't the same.

Just click on "Completed Items". All completed and sold items are now merged into one. Easy-Peasy.

·8 months agoTherein lies the problem. Now I may have to scroll through a list of 90% unsold listings, when all I want to see are sold listings.

After clicking on "Completed Items" there is another "Sold Items" button on the left, if you want to see only sold items.
Don't ask me why eBay wants both buyers and sellers to have to drill down another level like this, but if you want to see only sold items, there's your extra page work-around with only one extra click.
Someone or some group at eBay is enamored with unnecessary extra clicks to make our lives more complex, it seems.

Further Edit: I now see on my Fire Fox browser that "Sold Items" is a click box on its own toward the top left directly under the Categories. No further clicking is needed. That appears to be a good change by eBay... though I can think of a bunch of changes that are a much higher priority.

For me, it's in the normal place when I look on FireFox but in Chrome, Sold Items is no longer down at the bottom with Completed Items, instead it's been moved up in the left navigation and is now under the categories.
Others say it is gone completely on desktop but I'm not sure if that might just be they aren't noticing it has been moved - and some people are also having problems with not seeing it in the app any more either.
