Message buyers not working
Since last week I have been unable to use the "message buyer" link to send a message to a customer. I get a popup with a stern warning about not using the feature to move transactions off of eBay (which I don't)., but when I click in the area to type my message, I get a smaller popup right over it that contains a checkbox in case I want it sent to my email.
No matter what I do, I cannot actually type a message, because I am blocked by the popup. I have tried the "message buyer" links on the seller hub page, as well as the order details page, with the same result.
I have tried both Edge and Firefox on my PC and Chrome on my tablet, and none will allow me to send a message.
I fully expected to find a thread here about it, but nothing came up in search, so I am curious if somehow this is not impacting other sellers?

·11 months agoI'm wondering whether you have some kind of page scaling setting that's causing uncompressible objects (such as checkboxes) to overlay compressible objects (such as text columns).
Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing? Use my ID as the message recipient so that you don't have to mess around with blocking personal data.

OP11 months agoIt wasn't a setting, because I tried different browsers (Edge and Firefox) on my PC and Chrome on my tablet. It wouldn't make sense that they all got changed at once.
However, I did determine that whereas you used to type your message in the little grey area that says "Send message", now you type into the little popup that has the checkbox if you want it sent to your email. I thought that might be the case, but when I clicked there, I didn't get a cursor to indicate I could enter text there. I discovered earlier today that you can indeed type in that popup, and this evening I get a cursor when the box comes up.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to suggest a possible solution!
