I don't know the poster's context. But in Selling that means to separate individuals into similar groups, which are called 'lots'. While in Buying, maybe the seller was asking the buyer to do that at their discretion... choosing desired individuals to group.
Hard to answer an "asking for a friend" (kind of) question... but I hope that helped. 😊

·1 year agoSo many CDs and other items are close to worthless individually. By creating lots you can limit your labor for each worthless CD.

That is a 'Lot'.
