I wouldn’t be surprised, so hopefully all went well. US sales on Halloween are 2% higher than the average day in October. Supposition is that most folks are home, not wanting to deal with Halloween foot traffic or those out celebrating. Bigger movers on this day are media and snacks, oddly.
I expect it to be a little slower on Halloween as many people are out enjoying the kids or having adult costume parties. Or any number of festive things to do. But maybe later into the weekend they will shop. Fingers crossed.
