marketing discount not discounting all my listings...
This feature use to work fine for years. A few months ago it started leaving out many of my listings. I have done this many, many times so I see no error on my end. Looks like an ebay glitch? Please fix.

These subcategories only have some items missing from the sale, but there commonalities among them:
I'm not sure what this could mean, whether you need to check your qualification rules for your sales or there's problems with the listings themselves. The pattern of omission seems to be too structured to be classified as random.
Sorry I don't have a concrete answer or solution for you. Hopefully this helps point you in the right direction.
Note: The total number of items in a store subcategory is apparently not shown to the shopper, or I would have included that data.

Scroll down a little and you will see this.
Now find the sale you are currently running, click on the three vertical dots and a menu will appear. One of the options on an ACTIVE sale is to edit it.

·10 months agoI'm dealing with the same frustrating issue. I've messaged eBay using the "?" several times, officially reported it last Sunday, and now 1 week later? Still the same. They tell me my account is perfect. Well, it's not. 1 sale in 1 week. Glitches left and right that are not being fixed. The site is slow like sludge and I refuse to list until they fix this issue. What a way to start Q4. Someone needs to take charge and get this site running properly.

Using the "?" icon is for reporting feedback on the listing / transaction / screen, etc. To report an issue, you should always contact Ebay directly or report it on the Technical Board here in the Community.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

·10 months agoThe fact that you're running 4 separate sale events concurrently makes me assume that you used store categories or some other criteria to select your items for the sales. Is it possible you missed a category or two when creating the sales? Maybe a recently-created category that you didn't think to include?

OP10 months agoLike I said in my original post, I have been doing discounts for a long time. This glitch keeps happening time after time with no exceptions. I know it because the amount of discount items shows like a few hundred on my major eBay category discount page and should be in the thousands.

·10 months agoWhen you set up your Discount Sale, did you select ALL your listings?
You can go and edit the Discount Sale.

OP10 months agoall of them, in 4 separate discounted groups. One group is 15%, another group is 50%, another is 60% and one is 25%. Several months ago, this used to work perfectly and show up in my discount overview page. It is mainly the 15% group that shows only a few hundred - and should be thousands.

·10 months agoHave you tried editing the sale as I suggested earlier in the thread? I know it has to be frustrating, I'm just trying to give ideas that may help you. I know Ebay must have a issue with this stuff, but I don't know what it is and I have no idea if it has been reported to ebay.
Have you tried the Technical Board? If you post this there, it may bring in other with similar problems and possibly a fix.
