Making A Special Deal?
I'm selling some cards that go in a chassis. The sale is for one but the customer asked about buying all six that I have available - plus the chassis they come in (which I hadn't listed), but was in the photos.
I gave them a number, but I was wondering how I would actually do the sale since it wasn't listed that way.
Any advice would be appreciated.

One thing that works for me (I send personalized "special listings" quite often) is to use a photo or illustration that has very little to do with the item itself, but would be meaningful ONLY for that particular buyer.
And my title line only reads "Special lot for buyer" and adding the buyer's eBay name -- I do not identify the actual item in the title line.
To avoid a NAD case, fill in the rest of the item identifiers as you regularly would.
If you make your "special listing" appear to be dull and boring, only you and your buyer will know the truth.

·1 year agoCreate a new listing with the chassis and remove the old one. Let the buyer know the listing is live, and act fast. If someone else buys it, that's fine too

OP1 year agoI know the chances are few, but what if someone else steps in to purchase it?

·1 year agojust set the price high with make offer and tell them to make the agreed offer
also be very careful with having things in the picture that are not included, many only look at pictures

Then you sell it to that ^^^ someone else. But after you make the listing, tell your buyer it's up and to snap to! Good luck.
