Is it true that e—bay does not allow mailing Eyerackee dinars to Europe? Who can confirm this?
Specifically Germany. When I do a listing for an Iraqi coin/banknote and put worldwide or Europe shipping, my software will give me an error that it's not allowed. So those I make US and Canada only.
You are in Portugal so not sure what your countries laws are with regard to export and it would probably depend a LOT on which countries you can sell/import them into. In general the Iraqi Dinar exchange rate is pretty bad if you can find a bank or currency exchange to take them. At the present time 1 USD = 1,460 Iraqi dinar.
There is no embargo on Iraq, unlike Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and for the moment Russia and Belarus.
There really doesn't have to be a "embargo" for there to be individual country laws regarding import and export rules. Interesting under the new EIS program some of the things that are prohibited.
Due to export limitations and restrictions, items listed in the following categories also can't be shipped with eBay International Shipping:
Run a search on Google and see what it can tell you. There are dinars for sale on ebay, but it looks like most of the sellers only ship to the US. I know Iraq does not allow their citizens to sell on Ebay.
