I have tried to post a Playboy magazine three times. This what I was told.
"One or more of your listings have been hidden for not following our Protecting minors policy. We understand that this must be frustrating. But don’t worry — we’re here to help!
What happened
We don’t allow listings that include images or descriptions of minors (under 18) in a compromising situation, even if the listing is not intended to be sexual in nature. Minors must be fully clothed."
This magazine has been and is being listed all over eBay. Why not mine? The pictures are of the front and back cover and edge. I actually have another copy listed as part of the full year.

·3 weeks agoIt's said some of those magazines had under age models. There is a list of them in the net. Yours got flagged. They will now keep a close watch on your account for any more such listings . So, don't ever try to relist it. You can be banned from selling for life if you do.

·3 weeks agoIt is 'said', but that doesn't make it true. Hef probably had his own collection of child porn, but I doubt if any of it made it to the magazine. It's just another one of those old stories ...

·2 weeks agoI suppose some could have been a few days short of 18. Not a child but the law is the law. I suspect they would have taken care to prevent that as many already wanted that magazine shut down.

·3 weeks agoYou're a target now. Been there. I always thought the models in Playboy had to be over 18? Even the co-ed issues. But eBay lets sellers list disgusting, used panties. Ick!

·3 weeks agoBecause someone else is getting away with it is not justification for you to continue to try and list the item.
IF you keep trying eBay will eventually pull all your listings.
It is up to you if you want to keep trying to list an item the AI Bots have said you cant list but just know that you are being watched by them and are putting your account at risk. If your account gets suspended to canceled there is no way appeal.

Some Playboys have been determined to be "non-listable" because they contain images of ladies that were not 18 years old when the photographs were taken.
There were quite a few the last time I saw this come up.
In any event...
I probably wouldn't keep trying to relist it
since you're probably on some sort of radar
...and just because others are getting away with listing it is not really justification

·3 weeks agoI doubt if any of the girls featured in Playboy were under 18. Hefner might have liked that, but it was just as illegal then as it is now. The Playboy operation is too smart to allow that to happen.

·3 weeks agoThere actually were many of them, back when it was easier to produce fake IDs and all that information wasn’t centralized and interconnected online.
A quick google search will give you a list of said models and issues.

·3 weeks agoThere's a handful of Playboys from that era that have underage models in them. Yours is probably one of them.
I would advise to not continue trying to list it. If you find it's not one of the issues in question you could appeal, but trying to circumvent a listing block could get you banned.

·3 weeks agoHave you tried just copying a sold listing of the same product by clicking on the "sell one like this " button?
Then change as little as possible in the listing other than adding the pictures.

·3 weeks agoBecause eBay decided about a year ago that in interest of the never enough profit, they fired most of the humans responsible for flagging and handling reported listings, and replaced them with a very very very terrible AI system.
In turn, not only have so many legitimate listings been flagged/pulled, so many counterfeit listings aren't getting removed, but eBay is too busy counting their money to do anything about it.
