looking for seller for my products
I'm a real estate investor and purchased a hoarder house. Inside this house I acquired thousands of products brand new still in the shipping boxes. The previous home owner was a shopper and purchased a lot of items from the home shopping network.
I have a several storage units full of brand new products that range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars per item. There's a lot of collector items with authentication and still in the box.
I do not want to learn how to sell on ebay, I'm busy with my real estate business. I'm looking for a seller who knows how to sell and is wanting product on consignment. I can give a percentage of the items sold to whomever wants to sell these items.
Not sure how all this works so please let me know if you are interested and we can go from there.
I am in Utah and so are the stored items.
Any advice or help with how to unload these items would be greatly appreciated!

·3 years agoSell the stuff outright locally in bulk - by the gaylord, by the skid or whatever. No cherry picking. I agree with asking 20% of face value, max.

·3 years agoI have an auction house, but located in the Midwest. However, logistically speaking, you're better off looking for a single buyer from your area to buy the whole lot from you. If someone offered you 20% of FMV, I would take it and run!

·3 years agoYou would be better off finding an estate sale company, consignment auction house or consignment business to handle the items. There are a lot of postings that pop up like this recently and you may not have much luck finding somebody who is willing to take all the risks, deal with all the shipping issues, pay the income taxes and issue you a 1099. If you do find somebody they are probably going to want 50% of the total sales to cover their risks, expenses and taxes.

·3 years agoI don't think you'll have any luck looking for a seller here. Try to sell locally and forget about eBay if you don't want to list them yourself.
