OP2 months agoI was doing yard sales and making $50 a day the problem is I ran into some shady people so that scared me. I also tried FB markeplace. That's why I'm sticking with eBay bc I really feel safer here :) Thank you so much for you comment it helps a bunch :)

·2 months agoA family member of mine recently had an "Everything $1 Yard Sale" and did very well. People are willing to buy a lot of stuff when it's all just $1. I genuinely could not believe some of the stuff that sold.
With that said, there were no books or magazines or DVD's. I'm not sure people would pay $1 for those unless they were special.
If you genuinely have tons of stuff you want to sell cheap/ quick, get a friend to stay with you during a $1 yard sale and you might make that million dollars :)

OP2 months agolol if I had a friend I would. I'm not from Arkansas so I don't know people here. Sad I know but its the truth. I do want to sell everything I have for a dollar, finding a person is the problem. I'm racking my brain here on things I can do and everyone so far that left comments even you has helped me in so many ways and the more ideas the better. Don't worry about the shady people, they go around, you're not the last stop. I had a garage sale that was supposed to start at 8 am and while I was setting things outside at about 6:30, someone asked me something about an item, I didn't even know they were there, scared the heck out of me. I told him I am setting up right now and didn't price them yet, so he left and thankfully never came back.

The items you have listed are largely worthless, not at all appropriate for auction format and your titles on the lots are terrible.
You should research SOLD listings for everything you list. You have all these individual magazine issues listed for magazines that only ever sell in large lots. Like the Sedona Journal of Emergence, there are 160+ listings of that magazine, only 3 sold, and all 3 sold results are lots.
You can probably safely throw all those DVDs in the trash. The only one I saw in any of your listings that I would have even bothered to price check was the anime looking one stuck in a lot of totally unrelated DVDs. Demand for most DVDs has basically gone to zero, very, very few of them can even be shipped out at a profit anymore. Don't waste your time with the DVDs and start putting your magazines into lots of the same title, researching sold prices and listing for buy it now at prices in the range of the sold results.
I don't see anything in your existing listings that would ever entice another seller to come clean you out and actually give you any meaningful amount of money.
Concentrate on making those magazine lots with buy it now prices and up your prices on the souvenir glassware to $6 each and make them buy it now and expect them to take a long time to sell. I also wouldn't bother listing any poor condition or essentially unnamed glasses or shot glasses. They simply are not worth the cost of shipping and no one will ever find them in search.
Remember, you get 80 characters to use in your title, you don't have to use all of it, but you definitely want more keywords in your titles than you have now.

And others I would similarly pass on.
Give the stuff away on free cycle or Craig's list or the Facebook Marketplace.

·2 months ago · EditedYou seem to be asking how to use the eBay site to sell your stuff without listing it on eBay and paying eBay a commission. I'm not sure there is a way to do that. If you are looking to sell thousands of item, you probably need a local buyer and there are better options than eBay for that sort of transaction.

·2 months ago · EditedInterested buyers search for items you are trying to sell. If items are taking way longer to sell on Ebay than you like then expand your business. A lot of sellers use multiple platforms. Not everything sells quick on Ebay. The type of stuff you are selling a supplier would really want. One thing you can do is list a bunch of stuff in bulk and list it as a bulk lot to sell it to 1 buyer take all.
