·3 years agoAs others mentioned you are drop shipping. Drop shippers mark up their items to make a profit but smart buyers can do a little research and find the item cheaper either from your source or on another venue or from a B&M store. What is more difficult to find is some of the unique and coveted jewelry that is made in Egypt. I have been to your country and purchased a LOT of nice pieces that I cannot easily find in the states. Maybe you would be better served working with some of the dealers in Egypt.

You have been active less than a year and have limited selling experience. Drop shippers generally do not last too long on eBay. If your sales do manage to pickup you will most likely start hitting issues with delivery, refund requests, chargebacks, NAD cases, etc. You may find the refund and or return process interesting as a drop shipper. Where do you think the buyer will be returning the item to, if they return it and they actually return what they purchased? NAD chargebacks you are going to loose the buyer will be fully refunded and you will most likely NEVER get the item back, nor will the supplier who shipped it.

·3 years agoOP may also be learning another harsh lesson: That people who supply dropshippers often supply the same merchandise to many dropshippers, and the supplier often also competes directly with them all for sales.

OP3 years agoI work with a wholesale supplier legally as a third party, and I have an agreement to that effect..although I searched the market, I could not find similar products..from Asia, I do not know..this is supply and demand..I do not know why this frustration. I will continue and learn.. I will take all advice into consideration

·3 years agoSaying that you "work with a wholesale supplier legally as a third party" is not at all the same as saying, as you do,, "As third generation jewelers, we ... " Third-party and third-generation have quite different meanings.
Saying, as you do, that "The creation process—from the original molding to the final touches—takes place under one roof in the heart of the diamond district in New York City," but shipping from Birmingham, Alabama, seems very odd logistically.
The entire story -- Someone in Egypt who is a third-generation New York jeweler is shipping New-York-made jewelry from Birmingham, Alabama -- does not make sense as a whole.
So, I repeat: Buyers hesitate when they see what seem to be contradictions and inconsistencies in a Seller's story. You asked why your sales are zilch. I'm giving you at least part of the answer.

The Op is selling the same items on Amazon at much cheaper prices. How come we aren't offered those prices? If they offered those prices here on Ebay, someone might purchase from them.
@global-jewelery3 I see you're selling the same items on Amazon. Same pictures, etc. Why not offer the discounted price here on Ebay as you do on Amazon? Just curious...might help your sales.

You have only sold ONE .25 cent item and that was a toy. Not jewelry.
You should get rid of your store subscription as it is wasting your money until you become a bigger seller.

OP3 years agoIt's funny. I work with a wholesale supplier as a third party. I live in Egypt. What is the problem? New York is where manufacturing is done and the products are stored in Alabama. I don't know what the problem is.. The problem is that I didn't do what was required. There is no violation of laws or rules!! Whoever buys, I will do everything that is required and more. I know what I do very well. Thank you

·3 years agoive been on ebay 20 years, and have never charged shipping.. Just roll the cost of what you think it will cost into the buy it now price and offer free shipping.. Whats the point of making them pay for it when ebay just charges fees on the price anyway, so just roll it into your price of the buy it now.. it looks better with free shipping.. Just my view. Coming from a valid power seller.

·3 years agoUsually jewelry is 10kt or 17kt or whatever it will be on the inside of the item for sale. Your photos should show those numbers. Every real piece of jewelry will have some writing on the inside that show be shown in any photos.

Dropshipping is fine.
What you can't do is advertise items for sale which you do not have, nor do you have that contract.
Both may be called 'dropshipping' but we also see all online selling called dropshipping.
Even with a contract, your supplier is providing the pictures,description, packaging, and shipping. You provide the customers and send the supplier money.
If there is a problem with the pictures, description, packaging, or shipping YOU are held responsible, not the supplier.
And if you have never seen the products you are touting, well that will be an interesting day.

You are listing and selling in a very over saturated category. Your jewelry appears to be very nice, but CZ's are not top quality and your prices are very high. Too high. You are asking the triple the price that others are selling for much less. I got a pair of 5mm cz stud earrings/925 sterling from a seller for less than $10 here in the US. One of your listings states "animal pendant" What kind of animal? Your descriptions are very vague and alot of your pictures are black and white. How is the customer supposed to know what the item actually looks like when you are providing black and white stock photos?
Drop shipping is a very risky business platform. You are in Egypt and you are drop shipping from the US. Be careful. Lots of things can go wrong, trust me.
Work on your listings a little more. Be more descriptive and provide some better photos as well. Don't forget to drop your prices too, if you want some lookers.

You should have photos of the actual items. You are in a very competitive market, with millions of the same jewelry items for a third of what you are asking.

The block buyer with a feedback score, won't block buyers with no/low feedback, it only goes with the second block.

I do see that your listings offer 30-Day (Buyer pays) Returns, but also that your listing description copy says...
"Returns - 30 Day Money Back Guarantee with FREE return shipping."
