LIVE SHOW NUMBERS: Quality VS Quantity
Hi, I am a new seller here on Ebay and I've been selling on other platforms for 2 years. In the beginning I used to focus on numbers. I don't know why I thought that the more people I had in the show, the more money I would make. Over the the last 2 years, I decided to stop focusing on the number. I covered up the number with a post it note and started to focus on just the items and the viewers and buyers. Once I did that, it became so much less stressful. I would have 150 people in a show and on certain platforms, because their algorithm worked in a way that it would push my show to the top "most watched show" but on other platforms, it didn't matter. Well, Ebay is different and I don't know how it works or IF it even matters. But, I will say this: It does not matter if you have 150 people or 5 people. It matters who stays, who buys and WHO COMES BACK. Because at the end of the day, you are not selling an item. You are selling a service and if that comes with an item with an amazing price -- that is what will make a return viewer and they will refer out to their friends. I would love your feedback - even if you disagree. Thanks~ please come visit me and bookmark my next show.

·5 months ago@almaofaustin I may be mistaken, but I think you are saying that you are running ebay Lives (and you have run livestreams on other platforms, and they are different in some ways.) So, you are asking specifically about ebay Lives. I think you are going to find that none of the regular sellers here do Lives, and many, probably most, have no interest in doing Lives. I believe, since you are already a Live seller, you can access a special Discussion Board just for Live sellers? You'd probably get more insight there.
As to your general premise, that building a repeat customer base is vital to Live success, I would certainly agree. So, if you are having success with that, my advice is: keep on doing what you are doing. Best of luck, ebay is definitely pushing Lives this year, and you are in a favored category.

·5 months agoomg so that's what this was all about?
Come on man, stop it with the salespitch already.
I was reading along, your delivery wasn't terribly impressive to me... Kind of odd, a few good points but nothing terribly enlightening, nothing concrete either and then I get to the end and I see that?
I get really tired of it, every day someone tries sales pitches on me, please just stop it.
Hopefully you gained a viewer I guess, but you certainly lost me.

·5 months agoThere are almost 18 Million sellers on eBay. Every seller is different and what works for one may not work for another.
If you are happy with what YOU are doing, that's the most important thing for you.

·5 months agoThe ads for these shows are excessive, & I think people are put off by them, Sometimes you have to realize that too much of something is not a good thing.

Trust me you don't want my feedback on eBay (or any other "live") "Live".
I will say this though.....A blight on what was a relaxing way to shop. When it's pushed in my face by obnoxious ads I shop elsewhere until they're gone from my homepage................................
