Live Sales on EBay
I will stay on topic, live sales on EBay.
How are they going? As a rock and cabochon gem seller, I have been shown in my EBay hub an advert for a live ‘Gemstone’ sale.
However, the advert is of a cartoon drawn couple. So I click in to see if it is ‘real’, and I can’t see ANY of the listings. I see this colorful drawing has made a lot of sales, but not what they have sold, nor what will possibly be for sale at the advertised live sales.
It inspires zero inspiration for me to attend and possibly purchase from this unknown drawing of a seller.
How about a curated themed live sale, 1 hour, and the moderator selects 6 high standing sellers, has them pull 5-10 listings off to sell just for the live sale.
Advertise the pictures of items without pricing, the stores they are from,
The sale is a timed presentation of listings with prices, and first to claim, gets the item.
I assume EBay is cutting it’s fees on these sales, and for the EBay sellers, the advertising and chance to market your store/ potential new customers, would be worth delisting 5-10 ‘good’ items until the live sale.
