IDK as I'm not a Live seller, but why not just set up your promos to start & end to match the duration of your live? I'm guessing that's how you would have to do it anyway, unless eBay built a promo console into the product.
eta: also if you're in the Beta, you should have access to the Board for it. I'm not, so I can't tell you exactly which title it's under.
@nuclearomen IDK how many are watching, but it's needed to exist for a long time now. The competition has been out there for a few years & is super popular. eBay's has been in Beta for around 2 years if feels like. Personally I tried watching a few just so I could know what it was all about & the ummm, lack of professionalism & production values was not my cup of tea. But I have no doubt it is somebody's & since the competition has been a big deal for years, I do wish eBay would get it going for the masses.
I could actually see someone like you, with a very identifiable market, doing it. I'm not sure how much customer loyalty you have, but I'm guessing it's high, so I could see them tuning in for you.
Only a select few sellers qualify for ebay Live shows (I assume you are talking about ebay). Most posters here have no experience as Live sellers. However, I believe there is a special Board for Live Sellers....do you have access to that? It would probably be a better place to ask your question.
If you are already an Ebay live seller, then you should know how to do that, I would think, Since you are doing it live, Can't you just inform everyone of your discount sale?
