Listing's reach descreased by a huge percentage
Hi there,
I am a small seller on eBay.co.uk and my main products are work trousers and pants. From the past 3 weeks I'm experiencing a huge decline in my sales which includes 13% decline in my impressions, 44% decline in page views and 34% decline in the sales. Can anyone help me solve the issue and improve my traffic and sales?
Note: I increased the prices of my products 3 weeks ago, will that also be a reason of the issue? Does increasing price also effects the impressions and page views?

You are asking a very complicated question. But here are some thoughts:
1) If people are sorting by Lowest Price First (which is how I shop) then your listing will move further down the results and that can affect both impressions and views because your listing is less likely to be on the first page and this less likely to to be viewed.
2) Price is one of the factors that affect Best Match. So if your item is priced higher, it may be scoring lower in best match and thus appearing further down the results which again can affect impressions and page views.
3) Price is important to buyers. If your prices are higher, buyer will probably be less likely to be interested which could affect views.
Can anyone help me solve the issue and improve my traffic and sales?
More thoughts:
1) Have you checked to see if there is a competitor who has moved into your niche and undercut your prices? Or whether your price increase has moved your price point above the competition?
2) I live in the Northeast, and work clothes have a seasonal component here. People who work outside but don't normally wear "work clothes" will buy them in the fall and winter to keep warm. But as the weather improves, they revert to "normal" clothes.

·3 years agoYou are in the UK........the UK site could have a better handle on what's going on there......than we, in the US, do.
But I would certainly "guess" price increase could be a factor, considering the timing....... particularly since the page views are down so much......buyers won't open the page because they see the price........
