Listings in no-man's land [send offer]
As people have reported before, some listings allow Send Offer but don't disappear from the list. No way to know if they were actually sent. I am tired of looking at a bunch of them cluttering up my list. Are you dealing with this by ending the listings and doing a Sell Similar? Does that work assuming the new copies end up watched?

All offers a seller SENDS are all "immediate payment required". The buyer apparently no longer has an "accept" feature, so the products remain for sale until paid for. If your buyer happens to get more than one "offer" from you, they may choose not to pay for any of them since IPR requires separate payments at full shipping price for each, which will often negate any benefit to the "offer" system in the first place. This apparently is the same action when you send a counter offer. These are IPR, as well.
This scenario is for everyone, and implemented by eBay as an enhancement to cut down on non-payers (even though they don't have to pay at all now). There is no "opting out" and has nothing to do with retaining the other combined shipping killers that sellers can still "turn off" under the Buyer Rules here:

OP1 year agoInteresting. I have "stuck" listings all for woodworking videos, could be the same person.

·1 year agoI don't worry about it. If eBay says I can send offers and it meets our qualifications to send an offer, I send it. No one is receiving repeat offers, so it's no big deal to me.
I find sometimes they stay on the list but note that the offer was sent, but if I refresh the page, they disappear. Is that what you're seeing, maybe?

OP1 year agoDo you mean the page with the eligible listings? Refreshing and reloading Ebay has not worked.

·1 year agoYes, that's what I meant. You're experiencing a different issue than I usually do, then.

·1 year agoI've not experienced a listing staying on the list after sending an offer, but sometimes they show up again quickly and I assume a new ID watched or viewed it. If you don't know whether your offer actually was sent, you can pull up the listing and click "view all offers".

OP1 year agoI didn't know that was a thing, thanks.

OP1 year agoOK, if I found the right place, the page shows no offers sent. This is disappointing.
