listing the same clothing items but in different colors, sizes, and qtys

Hi,

I am opening an ebay site selling mens underwear. How do I make a single listing of the same item but with different colors, sizes and qtys? Thanks

Click on LISTING, CREATE LISTING (enter description of your item but do NOT use EBAY suggested match) and go to bottom of the page instead and select CONTINUE WITHOUT MATCH. immediate click on VARIATIONS and select EDIT then add your variation (size, color, price, quantity). After you created all your variations, then add "correct photos" for every variation.

How to add variations on eBay listings

Most categories are set up for eBay listing variations. You can create and manage your variations through the advanced listing tool or Seller Hub. Each tool will walk you through the process.

When listing, do the following:

Describe the features of the item that are standard across all of the items
Specify your variations and the options for each variation
- Each listing can have 5 variation details and up to 50 values for each of those details
- For example, if you’re selling shoes, your 5 variation types could be color, size, width, material, and style. Each of those details can have up to 50 values: 50 different colors, 50 different sizes, and so forth
- You can have up to 250 variations in a single listing for no additional fee
Review the variations to make sure your inventory matches exactly with the quantity selected for each variation; you can delete variations for which you are missing inventory
Add pictures (up to 24 for each variation)
Add quantities and price, which can be different for each variation of your item

You will do far better in sales if you instead make a separate listing for each variation. You particularly don't want to do it with colors, as so many people are browsing by photos and your photo is only going to show one color.

If different 'quantities' means 'different price' then it's best to list separately as you will upset customers when they search for 'lowest price first- see yours at $5 but then it goes to $25.

Use 'variances' regarding 'color/size' if the same price as that is what 'variances was 'intended' for.
