·2 years agoWhat kind of papers? I have never heard of that. Were they authenticated and graded in a holder by a major service?

OP2 years agoThey were genuine ANACS papers where the coins were graded back in the 1980's. The papers had ANACS photos of the coins.

·2 years agoWere the coins sealed in slabs to prevent tampering? That is the expected standard now, but I don't know if that was being done 30 years ago. If the coin packaging wasn't as expected, then that may be why the coins were rejected.

Also, are you sure that they were graded by ANACS? They are on the list of approved grading companies, but a different company from that long ago might not be approved. I noticed that you have coins from other grading companies that have not been taken down, so this is not likely to have been due to a competitor. eBay doesn't act on reports from potential competitors, for obvious reasons.
