Listing Prohibited despite others
Tried to list new CPAP tubing, but denied under the "Medical Devices" prohibition. However, there are MANY of these tubes listed and being sold. Why was mine denied??

·2 weeks agoCPAP stuff is not allowed. Some stuff gets through, some doesn't. It is eBay's rules, you are not doing anything "wrong", they just don't allow it for whatever reason; even if selling CPAP tubing is perfectly legal without a prescription they won't let you, and there is just nothing you can do it about.
Just don't relist it or anything CPAP related. Don't jeopardize your account, not worth it long term.

·2 weeks agoEbay has some categories of stuff where sellers must be approved by Ebay to sell the stuff. You have no way of knowing if those sellers have been approved or not. But for you, you can contact Ebay and see if they are still accepting applications for selling in this category and work on getting approved.
At the top and bottom of every page in Ebay are links to contact Customer Service.
You should save this information as it can come in handy from time to time. At the very bottom is a link in which you can request Ebay to call you.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT or ask an Agent to call you, in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

From this link you can request Ebay to call you in the USA. The option is available when Staff is available to respond, so NOT 24/7/365.

·2 weeks agoGiven the enormous number of sellers who are selling CPAP supplies without the required prescriptions, Ebay's automatic detection of criminals is inadequate to keep up. The bots which police the site cannot run 100% of the time without impairing the ability to do any business.
I have experienced the usually excess of CPAP supplies that the Medicare approved suppliers ship to patients, and have been able to resist the temptation to try to convert them into cash.
This is an ugly cycle and costs everyone to support.

·2 weeks agoI got pulled over and cited for speeding the other day.
There were MANY other cars speeding.
Why did I get pulled over?

·2 weeks agoIt was denied solely because it got caught. Nobody should be listing anything CPAP according to eBay's policies. Feel free to report any other listings you see; they shouldn't be on here.
