Listing: Any 3 (or N) out of a list of items, must select 3 (N...any number more than 1)
I have a set of items that sold individually are not worth (packaging and shipping) - (ebay overhead). A "lot" of items selected by me does not let buyers choose the specific items in the set required for a sale. Not optimum for the buyer.
I would like to create a list of say 21 items, buyer can select any 3, but must put 3 into a sale. Number 21/3 here are just an example.
Thanks

·1 year agoSorry, but if I were a typical buyer and saw this kind of confusion in a seller's listing, I would move on... buyers are often that way. You could also be setting yourself up for errors in keeping track of which items were sold/shipped, or buyers that wanted, for instance, two that are available and one that you already sold. This happened to my wife in her Etsy store, and became a nightmare of keeping things straight and having to be a slave to messages to and from buyers explaining which ones are still available and which ones aren't.
As a good solution, consider a multiple variation listing (if eBay allows it in its particular category), with 7 separate variations of 3. Then be sure to have 7 different photos of 3 items each... easy peasy. Then as a buyer, I might even have fun going thru and deciding which set of 3 that I wanted.
Cheers, Duffy

·1 year agoPick lots like you want would cost more Ebay resources for little additional Ebay revenue and just be a reason for Ebay to raise fees.
Some items are not worth selling online.

·1 year agoI think the closest you can get to what you want would be a variation listing with individual items priced higher and a large multi item discount for buying 3 or more. But there would still be no way to force a multi item sale, merely encourage it through pricing.
