Listing a item to sell
"Shipping cost cannot be calculated since the item location is different from the site. Use flat rate shipping."
I don t know why this message apear to me. I am from Portugal and Ebay don t recongnize the product from Portugal but from USA and i can t select the rate shipping.

Non-US sellers (sellers who ship from outside the US) can only use Flat Rate shipping if they create the listing directly on eBay.com. The same applies to all eBay sites.

·3 years agoYou can list them on .com BUT use Flat Rate shipping.
This is usually fine for foreign sellers shipping to the US because the rates are the same for all of the US.
Determine which shipping service you will use, then the size and weight, then figure out how much that will costs to ship to the USA. Take that total and add at least a 20% handling amount that will cover your fees, packaging costs etc.
Once you know how much to charge US buyers enter that amount as FLAT RATE (not calculated) when creating the listing.
