All the kool kids jumped off the dumpster and moved over to Threads!
OK maybe not all but 30 Million sign ups in the first 16 hours is impressive. The automaton over at the book is looking to take out the bird man.
That's not surprising considering how many people have FB and insta accounts. But it does show a desire to be elsewhere than the bird site. Zuck hit right while the iron was hot - for a robot he *does* do pretty well. I expect many more will sign up.
And now the Head Twit wants to sue Zuck for some form of copyright violation. If he's going to sue, he should sue Truth Social which is a total clone of Twitter, but that will never happen because Musk. Threads is not a clone of Twitter - for one Threads' app is rubbish whereas the Twitter one actually worked.
But it's early days for Threads (what a dumb name) so we'll see.
ETA: I'm more interested in the possible bumfight between Musk and Zuck at the Coliseum. I would even do PPV just for the comedy value.
I tried to set it up to link to my FB account and it was not an easy task (at least for me). You can't just "link" it to your FB profile. You have to create a specific FB Page in your profile then link that page to Ebay. I went through all the steps and created a page like they said. I could get Ebay and FB to link up for about 5 seconds then it would time out and say I needed to re-establish the connection. I ended up deleting the FB page and then apologizing to several people I had sent invites to during the set-up process. Wasted a few hours of my life...lol.
I see this advertised frequently. Has anyone tried this? If so, does it help?
Are your Social Media accounts active? Do you have lots of followers? Do you post to those accounts daily? Do your Social Media post relate to the items you are selling on eBay?
I could link my accounts to eBay but it would be pointless as I don't post on Social Media accounts and have no followers.
It costs you nothing to link, it takes no effort to link so give it a try!

·3 years ago@dqdistribution Twitter has been having a spectacular and very public melt-down. It's at this stage now:

Linking capacity to eBay is probably broken, along with a whole bunch of other stuff.

I'm not sure what actually happens, do your listings all post in your facebook or twitter feeds automatically?
