Time to file a class action lawsuit against eBay and their unfair practices and intentional throttling back on auction views. Promoted items are a scam!!!
Class action lawsuits don't just appear out of no where. Someone has to file a individual lawsuit and petition the judge to certify others in the same situation as a class.

Most good attorneys will offer you a FREE first consultation and let you know if you have a case. I strongly urge you to do this as no one on this board that I'm aware of is a trial attorney.

I walk in the door and Mr. Attornio greets me, "Right this way sir..." leading me through another door that is the emergency exit and slams it behind me.

There is now a line and a half of 'Similar' and 'Related' listings between the photos/main details and the item specifics/description box. -On the website I mean. I know the description has been on a whole separate page on the app from the get-go.

This stuff does not bother me.
Most of these ads on my pages are for something other than what I am selling.
Those that are the identical item are priced higher to pay for the promotion.
If I have the buyer on my page, the sale is mine to lose. I am more concerned about promotion within the search results which keep the buyer from clicking through to my domain.
Well they bother me, but not because of the 'competition' factor, just the fact that it makes it harder for buyers to see important things like item specifics, descriptions of item flaws, etc. -things that if they don't know, can result in returns and/or neg feedback. It's like eBay is so anxious for the 'next' purchase, they don't mind risking the integrity of the one already in progress. Reminds me of when I worked at a pizza place where the manager would make us answer the phones despite cooked pizzas falling off the oven conveyor belt.

I don't think so. How hard it is it to make a pizza. Flatten the dough, spread tomato sauce on it sprinkle the ingredients on it and put it in the oven. Voila perfect pizza when it comes out of the conveyor belt oven.
Slice it up and box it up! Done! Any monkey can do that!

This platform, just like many others does not care where the income comes from just that it comes.
No platform cares if you missed a sale because of them advertising over you, just as long as they make the revenue.
Yes we care as sellers but the platforms do not.

Election time comes and we get bombarded with robo calls and txt messages.
Our information is constantly being sold and shared without out consent and we see no money. Just plain harassment at our expense & personal time.
