As of the past 6 months. The amount of Authentic designer items getting sent back as unverified is absolutely ridiculous. I just got a Dior Shoe back from eBay today that they say is unverified. I have the original receipt for this shoe from DIOR. This is a personal item. If eBay cant authenticate authentic goods, why offer the service? I now am being charged an extra 5% for the items that didn't pass eBays authenticators for whatever reason. I have 0 items not as described from normal eBay sales that go straight to customers. But I have high not as described when it comes to eBays authenticated items. They are doing this on purpose to charge big sellers extra 5% on ALL SALES. SUCH A MONEY GRAB. How can I have absolutely 0 customer complaints or cases for items not described, but eBay can send items back from authentication for no reason and claim whatever they want. Ive sold multiple items that failed authentication and since eBay doesn't tell the buyer why, we as a seller must smooth over the refund or possibly get a negative feedback. Ive had many people still try and buy the item from me even after eBay turned it down at authentication. Because they know my store and know everything we sell is authenticated and authentic. Im not in 2 Michigan malls because we sell fake stuff...... eBay I need some help.

Bummer. I skimmed your Solds and don't see Dior, but "Hip, hip!" to your Golden Goose sale from 1/6. Those usually fail. 🤗

·8 months agoIt usually says cannot verify authentication. Unverified can also mean the item didnt match your description of it.
