It’s funny that the only option under Closing Account for Business reasons is “I'm selling my business or my business is not profitable”
Summary: cowboykites1 expresses frustration with eBay's management, accusing them of perpetual failures and evading accountability, which they believe leads to many users closing their accounts. pickapaper questions the strong emotions and invites clarification, while hartungcards notes confusion over a specific statement. reallynicestamps discusses general reasons for business failures, and chapeau-noir adds that poor management is often the primary cause. golfingaddict challenges the assertion about account closures by asking for evidence, and roccotacodad54 questions if expressing these grievances has brought any relief.
The reality is that most people close their account because of the countless monstrous failures of eBay “management”, and I use that term contemptuously and the frauds that infest the board of misdirectors. What a bunch of siloed overcompensated clowns. Perpetually underperforming the entire tech sector so badly, that it’s been perpetually priced in to the stock price.
There is no REASON for closing an eBay account that acknowledges the perpetual failures of eBay management. What an “insightful” way to dodge accountability. It’s why this firm is a perpetual tech disaster.
And even though federal regulators are asleep tho their shenanigans, for now, there are people well aware of the multitude of garbage actions that have nothing to do with the day to day management of eBay.
The upper echelons of mismanagement at eBay are so insulated and clueless to the operational concerns of buyers and sellers, that it’s a testament to HOW UNREGULATED eBay actually is.
Get another 50 million dollar chimp CEO janitor, I think the current one is getting tired of his own inaction and incompetence.
Fire up the video sellers, management monkeys, that’ll “save” you.

·1 week agoBusinesses generally fail due to poor management, not lack of capital...unless they're too big to fail, then they get a govt handout.

·1 week agoMost failed businesses don't make money because they sell stuff no one wants, because they are paying too much for rent/utilities/ fees, because they are overstaffed or understaffed, because they are spending too much on advertising, because they have chosen the wrong venue for their goods.
