Items not selling again
I've wrote on here before over the summer complaining about trying to sell things. I've recently had to delete my entire inventory and redo all my accounts because I think someone keeps getting in here without permission. I've been trying to sell things for about 4 years no and I've only made about a total of about 250.00. I think I've made my local post office more money then I've made. So how do I again find out of somehow my accounts are closed because there has not been one view on here and they keep saying (not all people) that my prices are way too high. I'm not sure what they are talking about do you? So things were going alright wasn't enough to pay my rent and things for my children. It seems to be closed again and not one view yet. All my customers have gotten some free stuff in there packages because it takes a long time for me to send stuff sometime ando have to walk like about 7-8 miles to the post office because I can't drive. So I'm not sure what a reasonable price is to you but really think I'm spending more them I'm making. So now that I've explained business for a few years how do I fix it so I can support my family. How do I find out it's locked or something? Something is very wrong.

·1 year agoI don’t know where to start. Clothing needs to be laid out fully to where the viewer can tell what the garment is. Right now, i cannot tell what you are selling. The listings don’t have enough keywords or photos to adequately describe your items.
And no one is going to buy badly stained, or bleach-damaged items. Take those listings down and be very selective about the condition of your goods.
I could say study what successful sellers are doing, but honestly, you do not have a knack for this. I recommend seeking a different line of work where there is a steady paycheck, giving your family some security.
You alluded to trouble fulfilling orders. Not getting items to the post office in a timely fashion also places you in a disadvantaged position to do this job. It doesn’t matter how many freebies you include in a package if you are late in fulfilling the order. (Why aren’t you scheduling a pick up instead of walking?)
Is there something else you can turn your time and energy to that will benefit you and your family? I don’t think this is it. Best of luck to you and hope times improve for you soon.

·1 year agoOffering damaged clothing is unlikely to lead to sales. Especially not when the shipping cost is equal to what you are charging.
Indeterminate sizing does not help make the sale.
You need to set a quality standard, need not be perfection, but it needs to be high enough to justify a buyer taking a risk and buying your item.
I agree you need more merchandise. more attractive merchandise - no wrinkles and no bleach marks.
The problem with needing money is that you have little money to invest or risk, and the stuff you buy and the kids outgrow often has been worn by more than your kids. Local thrift shops are where many people buy such clothes because they need not pay for shipping.

·1 year agoI see them as well. But like any buyer, I also see....
1) Only a handful of items (not enough to support a person, let alone a family.
2) Items that are tagged "Pre-owned Excellent" condition, where they should be "Fair Condition - Wrinkled w/ Stains"
3) Recently changed username icon. (May apear sketchy)
4) Prices are too high for the quality.
I know this may be disappointing to hear, but eBay may not be what you need to support a family.
Your listings aren't closed. I can see them. There's one thing I can say, the clothes you are selling are so wrinkled making it difficult to make out what it is I'm looking at, not appealing at all. And those stains!
Your last post was in November not in the summer.

If you want to make enough money to support your family, you'll probably need a couple thousand listings and something other then clothing.
Not accepting returns will make some buyers hit the back button.
