Item shows as delivered, buyer claims they didn't receive & opened case with Ebay
The buyer contacted me stating they'd filed a claim with Ebay because they didn't receive their package even though the tracking shows as delivered. Buyer stated that they spoke with carrier & carrier described package perfectly (according to the description they reiterated in message) and that they'd left on front steps. Buyer claims they've contacted post office and GPS states it was scanned near address. Ebay has frozen my funds. What can I do to have Ebay release my money?

·2 years agoIf it has tracking I wouldn't worry about it...add tracking to the open claim. And don't email the buyer anymore.
And just might want to block buyer from future purchases.
Just because your funds are frozen doesn't mean buyer is getting a refund. It's a standard thing eBay does.
I got an INR after 6 months...ha...my funds got frozen for a few days and then eBay released the funds. And then got another INR after 3 months. Buyers received no refunds from me.

In the INR request/claim the buyer opened simply add the tracking information for the package, at some point the request/case will be closed in your favor. It could be fast, might be "slow", doesn't matter you will win when tracking shows delivered.
