Item Not Received On Ebay Standard Envelope Shipment
OK, folks, I know this has been covered frequently from many different angles, but I need to know today's best answer:
Buyer submitted Item Not Received today for a postcard shipped by eBay Standard Envelope. ESUS "tracking" shows delivery which the buyer acknowledges, stating "Not sure where or what box postal worker put card in. Did not receive". Delivery is noted 8 days ago.
What are the current steps to handle this? If it is encapsulated in a particular eBay link I will accept that as a suitable answer unless there are any caveats that you may wish to add.
I have as of yet just refunded (in the case of no tracking) and not claimed the insurance, but if I'm going to keep selling cards I need to learn the ins and outs of this.

·3 years agoHow you handle it is this …upload tracking into the case since you say tracking shows delivered you won’t need to refund and will win. Your part in this sale is finished. It is up to the buyer to ensure a safe location for their items to be delivered to and to get with USPS to find out where their item is or report stolen mail to their local police.
