Item marked out of stock, but not sold
Summary: A participant inquired about an item being marked out of stock despite not being sold. orchidavenue mentioned experiencing the same issue and asked if dandan010101 had resolved it.
Hello. I have the item below listed for sale (quantity: 1) as Buy It Now or Best Offer, and at the time of writing, it had 2 watchers/in 1 cart. When I checked the listing, it showed the item as out of stock. I reviewed the listing details and noticed the quantity had somehow changed to zero, even though I never updated it.
I confirmed that the item did not sell and that there were no offers or pending transactions associated with it. I manually changed the quantity back to 1, but I am unsure why this happened. I also reviewed the listing revision history, and the only revision shown was the quanity change back to one.

·4 months agoIt is currently showing that you have sold one of these out of a quantity of 2. Is that true?
Is there currently a pending transaction that is waiting on a payment?

OP4 months agoAfter I changed the quantity back to 1 (after it mysteriously changed to zero), a buyer purchased the item. However, when I returned to the listing, it still showed 1 available, which was incorrect, so I marked the item as out of stock. Bottom line: I only had one of the item available.

·4 months agoI'm thinking that the buyer purchased it and it was waiting on a payment but you couldn't see the transaction until the payment cleared, it was showing out of stock to everyone until that payment cleared.
Just make sure that that listing is now ended.
