Item description seller comments
I am a new seller, recently learned something that was difficult for me to find, so I'm posting it in case others might have the same problem.
The first couple of times I listed an item I received the 'chat with an experienced seller ' window - which is great and one of the chats was a big help. But the 2nd question I logged was: "where do I find the seller comments for the desription? When I buy on eBay I see these comments on lots of listings, but I can't find where to enter them for my own listings." The answer I received was, there is no such field, you have to put any information about the condition of the item in the general description field. However, that was incorrect. I eventually, found the seller hub - which becomes accessible to sellers after they sell one item - and the condition description field for sellers is there, and very easy to find. Just a heads up in case anyone else found this confusing!

·4 years agoIt's possible too that you didn't see the condition comment section is because you were listing a new item. That area is not visible when the item is listed as new.

·1 year agoI'm a disabled person on a fixed and my medical bills are really high I thought I would get on ebay and sale a few things .I sold 9 items my buyers paid super fast I shipped these items as it wasn't the buyers fault that Ebay held my money.. 2 items were delivered yesterday. .it stated in funds held I might get my funds with in 3 days depending on how transaction gose ..I spoke with several sellers there they were fairly new they said this never happened to them..I don't know maybe I should have keep posting and shipping my items out without payment but I just couldn't do every time one of my items sold and seller paid they would send me a email saying buyer payed ship your items soon as possible without payment..Yesterday I shipped 2 of my last paid for items and removed all I already had listed..Alot of these items belonged to my Grandmother who pasted away several years ago I needed my medicine and I know she would have understood but Ive lost my only treasures of her and did without my medicine too .

·4 years agoWhat your referring to is the item condition, New, Like New ect...
All sellers know it's there.. some put comments in the box some don't.
