ITAR restriction on my item during customer checkout
I have been selling TX22 extended magazine releases and all of a sudden my sales plummeted. Didn't really think much about it. Was contacted by a potential customer tonight and was told they were given an ITAR restriction notice during checkout and were unable to buy the item. I am in Florida, he was in Texas. He also mentioned the same issue when trying to buy from other vendors. What gives?

I'm not sure whether that applies to your situation. I don't see Texas in there, but maybe there is an update. I don't see any Florida restrictions either on buying, shipping, or owning.
Additional: Texas Magazine Laws
No capacity limit: Texas has no state laws restricting the size or round capacity of ammunition magazines.
Buying and owning: You can legally buy, own, and use extended magazines, such as 16-round, 22-round, or 34-round TX22 magazines, anywhere in the state.
Shipping: Retailers can ship extended magazines directly to addresses in Texas without needing a Federal Firearms License (FFL). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Must be an eBay thing. - Yep, just found it. 10 or more round extended mags can't be sold on eBay. You can Google it. eBay ALWAYS outrules state and federal laws ya know. lol

To be International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant, companies must register with the U.S. State Department and restrict access to defense-related articles, services, and technical data strictly to U.S. persons
I would try contacting Marco Rubio. He's in charge of the State Department.
