It happened again: Accepted offer not showing up in Orders Folder
Another offer accepted and it's not showing in the orders section - nor did I get an email saying that the buyer was notified. When I go to see the status it says "awaiting payment". And then it states 18 hours. Is that when it expires for the buyer to pay? Because this is the second time it's happened and with the same buyer!!! If the buyer doesn't pay in 18 hours I'm going to block him, because I think this is a hoax.

·11 months agoI had one buyer accept an offer & was given 10 days to pay as ebay suggested they might want additional items from my listings. Found it odd but the buyer did pay. I think ebay is trying anything & everything to make that money for themselves - that IS their job afterall.

OP11 months agokalyoth, EB is a fail for me. At other sites I get offers all the time. ALL THE TIME. When I accept the offer it's paid right then on the spot. No waiting.
EB is incompetent, and I don't rely on it for sales like I do other sites.

·11 months agoAll depends on whether you want to try and salvage the sale and haven't blocked them yet but agree with gone.c-33 that this is likely a guest buyer having difficulties.
You may wish to consider lowering your listing's price to match the previously accepted offers. If so, when revising, you must remove the option to make offers and require immediate payment to lessen the chance they fail to complete the transaction.

You've asked about this in the past. It helps to check back on your posts to see the replies.
It was explained here:

OP11 months agoThe issue is this: I keep getting emails from Ebay that an offer was made and I accept the offer. Same buyer, same item, same price. This has happened 3 times. I think there's a glitch in Ebay.
This has happened everyday that I get the same offer email.
I got 2 Emails today, I accepted the offer.
I got 2 emails Monday, I accepted the offer.
This never happened before.

When an offer is accepted, the buyer gets a notification from ebay with a "pay now" button.
If this buyer isn't paying, the listing remains active so if someone else is interested in the item, they can buy it.
But if this has happened 3 times with the same buyer not paying, my suggestion would be to add the person to your BBL. They aren't reading their eBay messages or if they are, they're ignoring them.

OP11 months agoI can't block him because he's invalid. Who should I complain to? Obviously this is a swat or scammer, a prankster.
gone.c-33
·11 months agoOr a guest buyer who has issues paying.
Swatting is a serious thing, people have died as a result of it, this ain’t it.

·9 months agoI accepted an offer and it isn't showing on my selling page, only on my awaiting payment page.
How do I get it relisted while I'm waiting for them to pay? Is it in settings?

·11 months agoDon't end your listing this time.

·11 months agoSince no item ever shows up in the "Awaiting Payment" section anymore, why not remove it?

·11 months agoWe have items showing in "Awaiting Payment" regularly. If you're not requiring autopay and/or immediate payment on buy it now listings, there are many items that might sit for a while before being paid. In fact, we allow 19 days total before orders are cancelled for non-payment, though the usual time is 4 days (because we have our settings configured to allow 14 days).
You need to remove that image with the buyers ID it is indicative of naming and shaming which is not allowed.
Offer, if you accepted a buyers offer it is not sold until the buyer actually pays. Until then it can be sold to other buyers.
Yes it does appear that the accepted offer expires in 18 hours. If the buyer doesn’t pay it would mean, the buyer changed their mind or life happened and the buyer forgot about the offer.
