Isle of Wight UK
I have a customer that say he wants to buy something from me but he can't because it says I don't ship to the Isle of Wight but I don't have any restrictions on the UK. What's up with that?

·8 months agoCouriers in the UK charge more for offshore islands and the Scottish Highlands. Only Royal Mail covers the entire British Isles for the same price.
So it's possible it's down to the courier doing the final leg of the delivery. I believe ebay eIS use Evri who charge more for those sort of deliveries.

·8 months agoIt's possible that it's restricted by eBay from shipping to the UK, such as one of your toy listings (many toys can't be shipped to the UK). The first one I pulled up didn't specifically exclude the UK, but also didn't have any valid shipping options set up to the UK.

·8 months agoThe Isle of Wight is an offshore island. The ebay eIS program doesn't cover a number of these areas. If you want to ship to them you'll have to do it directly through the USPS, and even they might not guarantee delivery to the specific area of your buyer.
