It's something I should have known. Every time you relist or sell similiar it counts as an additional listing. Never noticed it before because I had the premium store with 10,000 listings. Then I saw you could have 1,000 listings with the basic store, and I changed my subscription. Twice I relisted all my 500 plus items at once, and that's when I started seeing an insertion fee of .25. I thought it was a glitch so I ignored it until the light came on and I realized what was happening. Oh well, better late than never.
You can monitor this closely on your Seller Hub in the Promotions Tile. If is full of up to the minute info. It can help you see where you stand on your free listings available to you.
Can you confirm you are being charged insertion fees and not listing upgrade fees? If they are insertion fees, can you provide a few item numbers? You didn't list any of them in multiple categories, did you?
Glad you figured it out! Can you share what you figured out with us, and mostly for people who will stumble across this thread in the future while searching for a similar issue?

Thank you for sharing. It is a common mistake and I'm glad you discovered it was just an honest error of understanding how it works.
For the future, there is a tile in the Seller Hub that can really help you track this in real time. It is the Promotional Offers tile.

·1 year agoI have not seen that, and I've just been listing a few things on my company's selling ID.
What exactly does it show at the bottom of the listing form when you are listing an item?
