Is there a way to contact eBay management or higher department of customer service?
I need help with an issue that can't be resolved by normal means and will require someone from the technical department or a higher management that can help us. Do you have any idea how to archive this? Feels impossible to get better help than the standard "Agent"

These agents are US CS eBay employees and may better serve you and your situation. Many positive posts with their ability to be helpful. In the past they were helpful concerning my issue at hand. Give it a try...it might be worth it.
Good luck to you and Happy New Year!

OP2 years agoThank you and everyone who responded before. Thanks for the handy link. Was going to look anyway but wanted to see what others sellers opinions were as well.

OP2 years agoThank you. I tried everything I could. It's an issue that is not easy to explain and due to the nature of it, I prefer not giving much details.

There are many highly experienced sellers that visit these boards. Collectively they have probably run into every issue on eBay and have found solutions.

OP2 years agoCurrently we got reinstated for selling after a big screw up on our part which was partially a mistake and a technical issue we had with the site.
After that, We used to sell about 1000 items a year, but since now we are allowed to sell 40 items a month, due to the issue we had with a vacation setting, our seller level metrics keeps going down due to the issue we had with some packages mid year (2023).
The issue is the seller level metrics will keep going down since the problem was June-August, when we planned to take a long vacation. The metrics are going down due to the higher volume of sales we had previously, and since we sell less now, every month due to the low volume of sales the metrics keeps going down. Customer service says we don't have to worry about those metrics....and yet we keep getting the emails saying that we are at risk of losing certain benefits like international shipping or even stop selling in the US even though we improved recently. Numerically seems like we are not going to make it if things keep going as it is, and they won't obviously increase our selling limits (Only thing we need is to have more items that we can sell, no the total value).

·2 years agoWhat you describe will likely not get any resolution from any eBay reps.
Your situation is what it is, and there is no magical CSR resolution to it.
Sales must improve to maintain the metrics required by eBay policy.
Hopefully things will improve for you as defects age off.
You will need to choose wisely for your 40 listings.
Choose things that will sell. Sell some low cost items a bare minimum profit if need be to maximize sales #'s.
At this point it is a "# of sales (good sales with no defects) thing" to save your account.

OP2 years agoYes we were thinking the same.

·2 years agoGenerally speaking, the way to get help above a regular agent to is give a regular a compelling reason to pass your case on.
If you give us ah honest explanation of what you are hoping to achieve, perhaps we can either (a) help you find another way to get that result, or (b) tell you that your expectations are unrealistic.

·2 years agoThats a lie the regular agents passed me around 5 times when they couldn't resolve my issue and I asked for a manager they told me there was no manager that they were all equals.
