Is there a legal way to apply text on a photo indicateing a special or than promotion tool?

Needing help with how to show on item that you have a special one time sale on certian inventory other than the promotion tool types suggested? Thank you in advance for your assistance. Al

According to eBayâ€™s policy on adding pictures to your listing they say this.

Donâ€™t overlay text such as â€œFree postageâ€ or seller logos. That kind of information should go in the title, subtitle, or item descriptionAdding Pictures To Your Listings

I would assume they mean any sort of text . Perhaps you could put â€œSALEâ€ or similar verbiage in the title if it fits to suit your needs.
