Always inspect every listing before going live. Especially so when saving work and returning.
Sometimes "recommended" amounts by eBay populate various aspects of a listing. Sometimes without notice.
Be sure to review the ENTIRE listing, line by line, entry by entry prior to publishing.
In woodwork, measure twice and cut once.
In creating a listing, review it thrice and publish once.
Sorry you didn't make as much on the sale as you might have planned.
The opportunity here is to strengthen your best practices going forward.
Best of luck with shop and sales.

·5 months agoUnder this ID for you, I see nothing starting at 99 cents. So you took it down already?
Or am I missing something?

OP5 months agoI listed for a much higher price and a buy it now. Don’t know what happened till I got a notice it had already sold for $24.99 and the beginning bid was .99.

If your "Buy it now" price was $24.99, and it sold for $24.99, what is your issue?
(Just some advice -- don't list ANYTHING with a starting bid of only 99 cents -- if you only receive one 99 cent bid, you're stuck with the sale.)

·5 months agoIt seems like the OP's complaint is that his item started out as being listed starting at 99 cents and he feels that he did NOT intend to start it at that price. As someone else mentioned, it could have wound up selling at way less than $24.99; however, it sold for the BIN within a few hours of being listed.

·5 months agoSorry -- but if you started it at 99 cents or BIN for $24.99 and it sold for $24.99 (the BIN price), why are you surprised that it sold for the BIN price of $24.99?

·5 months agoAre you saying that both the opening price of 99 cents and the BUY IT NOW price of $24.99 were incorrect and not what you typed when you made the listing?

·5 months agoNo, there is no "default price". If you don't enter a price, you will get an error message prompting you to enter one. If you started your auction at 99 cents, that was your own doing.

·5 months agoBut it apparently sold for $24.99, so what's the issue?
