Is item still available to everyone?
Hello all,
I have a general question.
I only have 'Buy it Now' items.
Someone made an offer for 25% off of item for sale.
I see this 'in 1 cart' on the top left side of my item when I clicked onto it.
Does this mean item is off the market or still available to everyone to buy?
I just assumed when it's in a cart it is not available.

How did you receive this offer? Asking since you don't use the "make offer" feature. Putting an item in a cart does not remove it from view. It is for sale until paid for.
If you sent an offer, and the buyer made a counter offer and you "accepted", it remains for sale until someone pays for it. If you sent a counter offer, the buyer has no "accept" feature and likely gets no notice of your acceptance. It sort of turns into an offer you sent, and remains for sale (visible to anyone that can find it) until someone pays for it. In this scenario, the buyer can either pay or ignore it. There is no way to send an invoice or file a non-paying buyer report.

OP1 year agoOffer was in an email from potential buyer in my eBay emails.
Here's the scary part...I looked at his feedbacks...joined May 2023...last 10 feedbacks are all negative from the buyer...I did blocked the buyer...have not responded to his email...but item is still showing 'in 1 cart'.
It is a somewhat good item.
I felt like telling him off but decided to just ignore the email.
Hoping he has only one account.
I called this 'Saved by the Bell'!

·1 year agoIf you accepted it it's in their cart awaiting payment. If not I'm pretty sure it's still available for someone else at full price. Does it still show on you active listings list? (They do change things around sometimes...)

In cart, offer sent out, offer received etc ALL don't matter. Still available and showing until paid
My items (500+) ALL have 1 to 10 'in cart' so I don't even believe it.
