Is Google Shopping slowing your sales? Offensive & Inappropriate Content Settings
Discussion Purposes Only:
A lot of people, especially in the older ephemera and media business have had growing difficulty in making sales. Not just on this platform. I sell here and other platforms (which I am not sure if you allowed to say those) but I am getting reports from Google Shopping that disallows "Offensive & Inappropriate Content".
Some of these are newspapers. It doesn't see a feel good story and assumes the worst? Maybe. Also, I have had some disapproved for nonsensical reasons. ie A fair program for "Personal Hardship Advertising" I put ZERO advertising in it.
This is food for thought on how such items can really be displayed to a large group of people. If Google is disapproving, some sites will even hide that item. If the item isn't in Google it's essentially dead except for whatever platform allows it.
Whitewashing the world. ... Thoughts?
