Is every change Ebay makes to the interface bad, or do I just dislike change? | Selling

I like most of you seem to hate every single change ebay ever makes to the web interface (I don't care what they do to the phone interface, real work gets done on PCs). As I woke up today to a horrid looking new message interface I realized that I eventually got completely used to the new listing interface and it doesn't seem to slow me down anymore. This got me to wondering if the changes are actually all bad, or is that just my gut reaction to anything that changes? I still don't get the obsession with trying to make traditional website interfaces look like they are on a cell phone though. I just don't see what that accomplishes.
