Is ebay updating the labels from first class to ground advantage?
i saw that mercari already updated all the labels to ground advantage now because i have some listings there. Is ebay going to do it also or do i have to go 1 by 1 ? Can someone explain me. I’m not a tech savvy person

·3 years agoThey already did it as of July 9. If you have listings using 1st class as the shipping option eBay gave you 30 days from the 9th to correct it. During that grace period, 1st class is automatically changed to ground advantage.

They updated the Label system. Sellers are responsible to update their own listings.

·3 years agoI can't tell if you have a store or not (just quickly typing this and that may be a different scenario). I would think it would be the same for everyone concerning such matters as this.
To bulk edit:
Go to your username in the top left of the "overview" or home page.
There, click Account Settings.
Under Account Settings, look for Business Policies.
Here, you will see the shipping rules/policies you have created for your listings.
Here, select "EDIT" on any/each one of those shipping rules/policies that need to be switched to Ground "Advantage".
After selecting Edit, select Ground Advantage. It may take a few minutes to fully update all listings under each/any specific rule you want to change. I recommend double-checking a few listings after half-hour/hour or so to make sure they changed successfully.

·3 years agoAny of your listings that were shipping via First Class Package you will have to change yourself. At present any listings with First Class Package will print Ground Advantage when you print them.
This is only temporarily so you do need to change the name of the service soon. With about 100 listings is should be quick, you can probably use Bulk Edit.

·3 years agoEbay already did it too as of July 9th. Remember it is for FC Parcel and Parcel Post. Regular FC envelopes / flats are NOT affected.

·3 years agoWhoops, @slippinjimmy brought up a good point.
What I responded above is when you go to print a Shipping label, it will read Ground Advantage.
If you still listings are what need to be updated, that is on each seller to do that. So you will need to set aside a little time to update your listings.
