·1 year agoYes, that was clearly stated in this thread over a year ago when it was first posted. Why did you feel a need to respond to it?
The mods will almost certainly close this thread soon due to age.

·2 years agoYes, sometimes the answers aren't always true or helpful but it depends upon who is answering. You get answers from anyone and everyone but if you click on their profile if they have a Mentor badge that's the answer you would believe if there's a difference of opinion.
Ask your question on the Ask A Mentor board for good answers.
When you post your question ask for the link to the policy you want to know about.
For example if you want to know about getting paid for the items you've sold someone will provide the link to that policy.
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Or go to Help & Contact and type your question in the search bar on that page.

·2 years agoeBay customer support on their Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter) page are known to have some training and authority to help out sellers. I don’t have the link but eBay’s Facebook for Business page is the home page for reaching out. Send a brief private message outlining your concerns and they will usually get back to you in 24-48 hours.
Your other alternatives are thru the Help & Contact link found on most eBay pages. From there you have the choice of chat or a return phone call.
There is no Customer Service email address to direct you to.
Last but not least, ask here in the Seller forum. Many long time successful eBayers volunteer their time to help fellow sellers (and buyers) with their issues. It is the probably the most expedient way to solve problems. Good luck!

·2 years agoThe OP apparently feels that, by asking here, he has the possibility of getting wrong answers.
So guess we should just let him/her continue futile efforts to get an email from eBay rather than ask here.
Best of luck, OP. Please return and let us know how your plan works out for you.

·2 years agoOverseas new seller with expensive items in a high fraud category, selling as new and pre-owned condition then stating in the description they may or may not be functional—what could go wrong?

·2 years agoSo the OP is now "talking to live chat". Would be interested in THAT conversation.
OP: Hope you are aware that the CS reps have a reputation for telling you what you want to hear to get you off the phone so they can move on to the next caller and tell them what they want to hear.
Let us know what you learn from live chat.

Ebay doesn't answer emails or personal letters so that would be a waste of time. There are a lot of long time veteran sellers on this forum who can be helpful with what ever questions you have. Feel free to post your concerns, etc. and I'm sure you'll get some answers to your questions.
My guess is eBay might be asking you for receipts for all that high dollar merchandise you are selling. New sellers that sell high dollar items right from the start are under eBay's radar and will raise red flags every time. If you need more advice please reply.

·2 years agoI hope you didn't get a number via a google search since that wouldn't be at all good NOW.

·2 years agoThe answer is simply no (ebay please contact me and tell me how I am wrong!!) . They have no interest in talking to sellers or buyers through phone calls or emails. What other business survives this way.
