Interim Payout sent ...

I received an interim Payout today (Friday) and my account is on Weekly Payouts which is every Tuesday. Included on the Payout was a Cancelled label credit from June 29th and one (and only) sale made since my Tuesday Payout this week.

As near as I can figure this interim Payout was triggered by the Cancelled label credit and eBay's Managed Payments simply sent ALL Available funds since the last scheduled Weekly Payout. I read one of the Help pages on Payouts but it does not mention this situation.

Hey @mr_lincoln! Thank you for sharing this. There is an open sitewide ticket open under ALERT16072 for sellers having scheduled for weekly payouts, but received two payouts in this week. The Product team is working on resolving this issue as soon as possible.

My sincere thanks and I knew you guys would be descending on all the threads that have popped up about this. I created my thread before seeing any others so realized it was not the reason I initially thought.

I am confident the interim payments many Sellers are receiving is a proactive corrective measure by the Payments Team ... who I suspect are also rather busy LOL!

I got the same thing but if you look closer it says. so it will be Tuesday before it hit our bank account.

Same, I don't usually pay attention to the payouts but I checked because of the threads about this and we got one too. No big deal but it is interesting when they do things unexpected like that.

I also received this second payout however I never had any canceled label credit as far as I know. Does anyone know if this is a recurring thing? Will I need to contact Ebay about this?

Don't rock the boat. When something happens to me that doesn't affect me negatively, my motto is to "Do Nothing". Let the pay out play out -- hmmmmm... kinda rhymes.

It would have been nice to have received a prior explanation from eBay though. Oh well - perhaps it's the new AI at eBay having a mind of its own and turning on its master... like the computer HAL in 2001 A Space Odyssey, one of my favorite movies of all time right up there with Titanic and Top Gun Maverick.

My mind's getting carried away - time for another cup of coffee and get back to my backlog of photos and listings.

@kims_finishing_touches Same here. Received my scheduled payout on Tuesday, and notified that they sent one today as well.

Perhaps ebay is now using its Magical AI to handle payouts.

Thanks for posting. I was just informed by another Mentor that some members did not receive their Weekly payout this week. I suspect that eBay is simply correcting that error for those members and sending Payouts to many or all accounts set for Weekly payouts to be safe.
