Interesting Results of Inadvertent Experiment
For many years we've been saying (including myself) that listing daily will increase sales. Well, that's no longer the case. For the last two weeks I've been busy with a large project and have not been able to list at all. However, I have been sending offers, as well as end/ss about 50 items daily, even raising the prices by $1.00.
The results? Still consistently selling 4-6 items each and every day, without raising my PL rates above 3%!
Therefore, DAILY ACTIVITY is the key. Hope this helps some of you. 🙂

·11 months agoListing daily unfailingly increases my sales. When I don't list, I don't really sell.
ETA: It all has to do with having more stuff on offer - if you're as small as I am, tweaking doesn't do a lot.

A few years ago, I was trying to list every few days, update listings and it didn't seem to help any.
The next year, didn't do any new listings or anything with the listings I had up and sold more that year then the year before.
I think it all depends on what you have and what buyers are looking for and if they can find it.

And it never was the case, but it's always been a fun old wives' tale.
