My account was restricted for sales in January 2026 for no specific reason, something related to suspicious activity. I contacted eBay customer service and the answer was that I have problems with INR. I checked my account and I have 0% INR and BBE for the last year. I have 100% positive ratings, I am a Top Rated Seller. They told me to contact customer service after 30 days, then after another 30 days and so on, but the answer was always that I have problems with INR. My account has zero problems with INR and BBE, I have 0% on all of them.
Is eBay's system really that bad? I don't really care, I moved my activity to other platforms and it's going much better, but just for the idea, how easy is it to block an account that has zero problems? The impression left by eBay agents was that they don't understand English, as if those answers are automatic, which is probably how they are. I have had accounts on ebay since 2002, I have sold over 20k products, I have never had such problems. This account with problems is a business one, I have also given up on the other business account and the personal account, with such customer service, I am not willing to fund ebay accounts with money anymore.
