·2 weeks agoIf there is a need, I can start up a small website to do the same as inkfrog. I already have the tooling built and ready. I was gonna release a eBay chat support bot that can link to your store and handle customers for 19.95 month sub. Tried and true as it is the system I developed and use today. Wouldnt be hard to set up a listing pipeline and incorporate my system I use my own store in currently. Is there a need? What are the features you need the most? Listing templates, research, pushing listings? Obviously this is my personal GUI i use to manage my store, but wouldnt be difficult to set it free for public use

So pick something that pushes photos directly to eBay and keep a local backup of your template files. I set my templates back up in 3Dsellers when I switched and the bulk lister carried the load fine after that.

·3 months agoI have just launched newpad.app which will import large libraries and capture all photos. If there is interest this will be reasonably priced, but due to the urgency of capturing images quickly (while they are still up) this is free for a few more test users.

I've done my final download and I noticed a different message from before--I think.
"Library Actions etc.-> Export".
I can't find it. Maybe because it says "for re-importing into Inkfrog" which can't happen after today.

This confused me too.
Here's what I did...
I used the main CSV export and saved that in one folder.
If you use the Help prompt and type in Library Export, there is an article that makes sense, and it worked. Help> Search Help Articles>enter (Library Export)>CSV Export
I was able to get the simplified CSV files from the library, but you have to do it page by page-50 listings at a time. Select All, then the export prompt will appear in the upper right corner drop down menu for that page. Export that page. Then go to the next page, rinse and repeat. I exported mine to a separate folder on my desktop. It took a bunch separate exports to get all of my Library.
It does appear that all of the stuff in the Library is included in the Main Export, but I wanted to make sure that saved drafts etc were easy to get to if I want any of them. I'll sort thru them later when I'm not so frazzled...LOL!

I'm not seeing Help to see and search the articles for Library Export. I see Support in the shaded area but still can find Library Export.

I was able to find and export my Library listings on Sunday. Also was able to list on Monday.
This morning I clicked on a link to Sparedollar that I had saved and was directed on how to sign in. Once logged in I was able to import them. I've used up my free space and will be charge $3.00 to import more.
I had to do that when I imported the first time.
So I think with the main, first download and the listings that I'm in the process of downloading I'll have everything.
And like you I'm not so frazzled either.

Besides the three points you pointed out. Price is a factor. We are also price sensitive and the highest tier only has 15k, and lowest tier only has 500. Your inventory sync sounds interesting,(need to test to see if it works)

Synchronizing and editing costs to our systems too. For those just needing a back up, the cost is $9.99 per month for unlimited products with unlimited pictures.
Now that I write it, we should actually review this price. Too cheap.

·3 months agoYeah, time is running short and if sparedollar hopes to enroll Inkfrog refugees it would be about time to post some more info, the sooner the better.
So far it's pretty vague, no info on features, prices, launching date & etc. Their pitch is pretty good but as they say in TX, so far all hat & no cattle.
I'm not going to fool around & wait till the last minute so I'm going to make a move this week, likely go to sixbit if sparedoller remains mute, auctiva no good for me as they only support one account, I have two

"Rescue is solely intended to secure your images and listings from inkFrog export. I'm working on solutions within SpareDollar that will allow you to use these as actual eBay listings. I don't have a firm launch date yet for SpareDollar's launch, but i'm working around the clock to get something up and running. I started this venture just over a month ago, although it's made great strides, there's a lot of work and testing involved before I can confidently release it.

·3 months agoposts like this remind me I miss turbo lister like an ex girlfriend haha.... I was so reliant on turbo lister that when they ended it about 6 years ago.. I thought I would have to shut down my business.. I literally hadn't listed an item through the website in over 15 years at that point.... sigh....
they should bring it back... a system that lets sellers edit, store, and write listings without being internet connected

·3 months agoappreciate that didn't know.. I don't think a service like that should be paid for .. we're generating revenue for ebay.. paywalling our ability to list is nuts to me... they should bring back some form of turbo lister for the community.

·3 months agoSixBit which @dhbookds mentioned (I've been using it in it's various incarnations for 25 years) is just one of dozens of third-party tools. They are not part of eBay and need to make money to stay in business.
At one time eBay actually bought what was then call Sellers Assistant Pro, they changed the name to Blackthorne (kept the original operators on). A few years latter eBay fired the operators and ditched the program. The guys that ran all of these reopened on their own again with SixBit.

I've just exported the csv file to SD. It looks like the rescue is good for up to 1500 images. My inkfrog has 42,000, so it prompted me to pay $9 for storage. That is good for up to 100,000 images.

·3 months agoThat was our experience as well. Great value ($9.00 per month) for preserving 10,000 listings and more than 60,000 images! Can hardly wait to complete this "rescue" process when they're ready.

·3 months agoAdmittedly... we're growing concerned. No updates from SpareDollar in recent days. If we need anything... it's that we need to be assured that help is still coming. Sellers need to be better informed as to what to expect between now and May 31.

·3 months agoReceived an update today from SpareDollar... indicating they were in an intensive period of testing for the new site... and that while the launch may not be ready until after May 31... they are still actively working toward completion asap.
I also attempted to sign up with 3DSellers as a bridge while I wait for SpareDollar. Bottom line... that migration was worse than anything I would have imagined. Customer service is managed only by a "bot".... with an extensive "hold period" when waiting to speak with an actual agent. Tried to cancel my 7-day trial subscription and the extra upgrade that I paid for... but failed on both counts. They now claim that it's impossible to cancel today. Quite a meltdown. I'll just list using the eBay listing platform... for the short term.

·3 months agoWow. Back in 2010 when choosing a 3rd party lister I narrowed my choice between InkFrog and Auctiva. I think both were free at the time and very similar. So glad I chose Auctiva mainly because my friend flipped a coin.
There were times I hated Auctiva because I wanted it to do more for me. Honestly I can't remember what it was, but I considered changing to InkFrog because of that. Glad I didn't. So far I see Auctiva still growing and developing so I think at least I don't have to worry much about that.

·3 months agoWe ended up, after looking at four options, going with 3DSellers.com. So far the migration has been a very positive experience. They took their time and answered all of our questions and we tried the product for a trial period. Sometimes positive change comes from a stressful situation, like InkFrog going away. Today we totally severed ties with InkFrong and moved to 3DSellers.com. It is more expensive, but I think the benefits are worth it. We have been on eBay for 24 years and have been through a few listing software shutdowns and I'd say this has been a fairly easy transition. I hope this helps.

This morning I received my invitation to begin transferring my listings (and PHOTOS!) to their "Rescue" platform... as they prepare for their upcoming re-launch of the SpareDollar listing platform. I'll just say that the process was flawless. Absolutely impressive!! Over 10,000 inkFrog listings... and over 60,000 accompanying photos / images... DONE within 30 minutes. While this is just the first step for us in preparing to replace inkFrog (closing June 1, 2026)... it was a clear sign that things are going to be OK! Working with SpareDollar during this important transition has surpassed all expectations.

·3 months agoI received it also. I had been in conversation with Tomas's wife here on ebay and signed up last week and today got the invite to upload my data. For a non-techie it was easy. Just don't know if everything was transferred. All I'm seeing are my pictures. Now we can reply to his email with questions. This is so great.

·3 months agoI'm seeing my listing title... and all photos for each listing (that is, if I hadn't already deleted them from inkFrog). Many of these listings were more than 10 years old... so it's possible that I deleted the photos long ago. I don't see the full descriptions yet... though we don't yet have access to the full listing; just what's in the various columns.... until the full site launches. I agree... this is a great beginning.

·3 months agoDoes anyone know if all the IF data is transferred? Library, sold, unsold, older images.
Been there for a good 25 years, was a great site, never even gave it a thought as it worked so well, even though the last few months I have noticed image uploading problems.
Have transferred 4500 images to sparedollar which was very easy, but I just do not understand exactly what it is as it is not actually working yet.
Would be nice if they could just take IF & fix / keep it going, but that is just way too logical, but what does an old guy like me know?

·3 months agoI suggest try sixbit as they save the csv locally which you can use later elsewhere. Since save locally. I assume it is still on your local machine when you cancel.
I haven't used sixbit but since they save everything locally on your machine I would assume this is the most cost effective way to save your data?
I myself after 10 years on inkfrog I am giving up on the photo and data. I will just retake pictures and re-search as needed.

The good thing about inkfrog I can list to different ebay accounts with only a dropdown versus having to log off one account and log in another.

·3 months agoThis evaluation still stands. I know that the SpareDollar team is well aware of our "countdown clock". While they don't necessarily have a specific launch date yet for the entire site... their "Rescue" link (available from their main web site page; upper right corner) can help users get started on preserving the inkFrog CSV listing files... that will also include every image URL that SpareDollar can then utilize in recovering permanent access to every photograph still on your inkFrog account. I couldn't imagine it all being so simple... for me, it was. Few new platforms that I've ever encountered over the past 30 years... has ever been this impressive. At least, I now know that all of my data has been preserved... and we're ready to immediately act as soon as SpareDollar gives the "GO" sign for accessing the full listing site!
There will, no doubt, be a learning curve for many of us... but it's better than the certain inkFrog meltdown that will occur on June 1.

·3 months agoWe're doing the same. There is much that we don't yet know as to the timing for the launch of the full SpareDollar site... so we're trying not to speculate. Still, at the very least... as it seems clear that we can continue on inkFrog thru June 1... but we're planning to export an additional CSV file from inkFrog on May 31... just to preserve our final data from their site. We won't do anything with it at this point... until we receive further information and recommendations from SpareDollar. It feels a bit like we're all walking the high-wire right now... as sand continues to fall through the hour glass. Still, their performance thus far has been impressive and we're in full support of their efforts. Hopeful!

Nembol will extract the Pictures from the pics links provided in the CSV (presumably InkFrog's storage or perhaps eBay's) and copy the file on Nembol stack. Therefore you have a copy right away, and you can do it now.
Nembol is free for 14 days, so for 14 days you are backed-up. Then a backup costs only $9.99 per month, which is ridiculously cheap.

If you already use Shopify i use eBay Sync & Importer by LionzApps. https://apps.shopify.com/lionz-apps-sync
Not saying it replaces every inkFrog workflow, but it help sellers who already have Shopify in their setup. It has worked well for me so far.

It has some store for cross listing. Pricing is pretty fair too. Wish their interface has an update and don't like the 90s.

·4 months agoI have looked into SixBit several times. I was put off by the fact that their most recent demo videos are VERY old like mabe 7 or more years old. And they have zero presence on Facebook, kind of strange for a company in the ecommerce world. Made me wonder whether they are still actively in business supporting and updating their product.

·4 months agoCertainly they update as needed for the platforms.........support is great. The actual listing form has all the present necessities to list......but they don't change/rearrange the information.......which I think most people would approve of....you don't have to constantly "hunt" for where something "went". Once you learn it, the form stays static.

·4 months agoCrosslist doesnt look bad now, 4 years ago it didnt look that impressive, I believe they didnt have the unlimited so I skipped it.
What inkfrog had which was great was when I edit i can just revised live. Some of these other platforms like Vendoo makes me have to delist and relist, on any edits.
Crosslist shows it can edit a live listing. But I cannot confirm that.
Imagine you have a listing with 1000 qty with 500 sales, you don't want to delist that. Also make sure you can edit all fields. Vendoo doesn't allow me to edit weight. So my cards are left at 1oz when I wanted it at 2oz, so I couldn't relist them to mercari.
Another point is page you use is pleasing enough for your eyes. Your going to be using it often it should be easily used interface or else your gonna just dread using it.

·4 months agoSince they don't allow a free demo unless i provide a credit card, I can only base it on what I saw. (I dunno why any of these tools wont provide a website demo on their site, just using a test server so people can play with their service and feel.)
I was actually tempted to to move over to crosslist from vendoo because of three features. Management multiple accounts, bulk edit weight, AI to prefill fields. I don't like Ai description but if AI can easily set my fields so I can review it saves me time. I can then do my own descriptions after.
But from video doesnt look like I can add two ebay and two poshmark accounts together. (Same issue with Vendoo.) Also their bulk edit feature is a lot less than inkfrog and vendoo(still cant edit weight). Just AI prefill and saving 400 dollar, not enough to exchange it.
I still think inkfrog would have been great if Wix put resources into rather than just customer service and an IT person. They just lack crosslsting. They already have that feature but it was only to amazon and shopify

·4 months agoI've received the dreaded Inkfrog message as well. So far I've found alternative platforms in Auctiva or 3DSellers. It looks like both of those require the top tier subscription in order to import the spreadsheet file that's to be downloaded from Inkfrog.
I'll keeping an eye on this space for any advice as all of us Inkfrog users scramble.

·4 months agoIndeed... a shocking announcement today... as we've been using inkFrog (Wix) with our eBay listings for nearly 20 years... and on June 1, 2026... they're completely shutting down?? Unfortunately... we're now left with mobilizing an alternate listing platform... within only a few weeks. Talk about a sucker punch! How could a major platform like Wix do something like this with so little notice? In an instant... we've learned how vulnerable online small businesses actually are... So much for trust. Now... it's a mad scramble to figure out how we can survive. THANKS FOR NOTHING, INKFROG!

·4 months agoeventhough I already switch to Vendoo, I still have inkfrog as it is very easy to use, but lack of any feature and support it was a dead software that still functions.
I liked inkfrog cause it only cost me 219 a year vs vendoo at 600. But vendoo though mainly is a crosslist tool can function as inventory as the listings dont disappear after 90days.

Inkfrog has already not have devs making new features for years.. already just using what they have which is already good enough and cheap enough for users.
I think the final straw was this weekend and every user went to inkfrog for support and they sealed the deal for uppermanagement (WIX) to finally shut it down) As they have no resources to fix anything.
