I don't think it's your Imagination, But depends on if you use PL's & how high you go with those, Also if you offer free shipping, Among other things that factor in to your profits, Your asking a broad range question, But sales have been bleak for many of us!, Profits however are going to differ among sellers depending on what they are willing to accept for their items.
Only you can calculate your ROI. But if you are indeed losing money, reevaluate costs, pricing, all of it... now.
There have been no major changes in fees or taxes for years now. That said, shipping charges climbing and climbing definitely trickles down to adding to the overall fee expenditure.

·2 years agoJust subtract what you are losing from what you are making and see if the result is a positive number,
a negative number, or 0. We can't do that for you unless you give us the two numbers.

If you source an item for 10 and sell it for 20, it is not your imagination, you are probably losing money....
If you source an item for 1 and sell it for 20, it is not your imagination, you are making money

·2 years agoIMO quantity 1 clothing items at $3.99 with $6 shipping are money losers. Especially if they are clothing with high returns rates.
IMO anything which costs more to ship than the item sells for is a loser.
Even if all goes well, it is unlikely that you are making the minimum wage on your Ebay sales.

·2 years agoWhy are you doing auctions, you're only getting 1 or 2 bids on most items.
When your shipping is double what you get for your items, that does cut your profit away down.

·2 years agoThat's a broad question. It could be your imagination or your reality. Good luck, however it turns out.
