Inaccurate Claim of Item Not Received, buyer wants Refund and Item at their P.O.
I sold 2 items, combined shipping sent in one package and shipped the same day as buyer paid. Tracking shows the package is at their P.O. and has been attempted and undeliverable because their store was not open. I have contacted buyer 2x asking them to contact their P.O. with no response. The want a refund. Any suggestions as to what I should do.

·1 year agoYou are not required to refund the buyer. If they file a non-receipt claim, as long as you shipped to the address on the order and you respond to the claim by confirming tracking, you will be covered by seller protections because there was attempted delivery.
That said, I'm going to post my standard advice for return to sender packages below, because the buyer will either get their item from the PO or they won't and if they don't then the PO will return to sender after 2 weeks.

This is my standard advice for RTS (returned to sender) packages. Take the parts that are relevant to your situation.
You have a few options. You should decide which route you'll be taking and communicate with the buyer, but wait until the item is returned (and delivered) to you before you take any of the following actions.
